Few knitted fabrics look as pleasing as those enhanced with cables. There is an infinite variety of possible shapes and design applications, and cables are really fun to knit! Let us get you going with our favorite accessory this season, the “Fetching” cabled hand warmers from Knitty’s Spring 2006 issue. Some experience knitting with double pointed needles is preferable, but proficient knitters with a desire to learn are always welcome.
Materials: Please plan to purchase one skein of Karabella’s Aurora 8 merino. You will need double pointed needles size 6, and you must print the copy of “Fetching” yourself and bring it to class (Knitty’s copyright rules). Click on this link.
