Caution: sock knitting can be addictive! So many colorful yarns to choose from, and every yarn shop has a different selection. You can enhance your sock yarn stash on all your travels, no one will object. You get a lot of knitting bang for your buck with socks, and they make great gifts if you can bear to part with them. Once you try on a hand knit sock you’ll see how hard that can be! We start off with a provisional cast on so that you can turn the heel in class. No previous experience knitting with double pointed needles required to take this class.

Materials: Please bring solid color worsted weight yarn (you will be a knitting a small sock with it) and also a set of size 4 or 5 double pointed needles.
